I think everyone takes something for granted. Some take this country and the freedoms it gives us for granted and I would be lieing if I said that I don't either. Some people take their family and the love in it for granted and I have to say that I do too. There are some many things that I probably take for granted and I don't think that I could list them all but it is something that needs worked on.

What I really want is a normal life. I am eighteen years old and in the last four years, my igh school years, I have had three surguries and so many problems that my life is just screwed up.
I've had problems with my eyesight since I was two which meant doctor's visits but that cleared upwhen I was thirteen but I wore glasses until then. I have scoilosis(curved spine) which meant twelve years of doctor's visits but that is finally over. I have asthma which meant doctor's visits and medicine but that's finally over too.
I was doing great then things really messed up. My freshman year, I did half-days all year and then I missed the last three months of school because I had to have back surgery but everything turned out great for a while. Then I started having problems with my breathing and my asthma so that meant more school missed and a lot of doctor's visits. Then my back started hurting again my Junior year and I had to have another back surgery. Then of all things, I started having four straight months worth of migraine headaches, every day, all day. that meant two hospitalizations, missed school, and more doctor's visits.
Then finally my right knee messed up so I've had surgery on it five weeks ago. The surgery took place the week before prom so I couldn't even enjoy that one night, I went home crying.
The funny thing is, I'm eighteen and I don't even have my license. That was even sscrewed up.
So what I want most is just a normal life with no problems so I can enjoy college.

There is a long standing debate in this country about the issue of abortion. Some people say they want it and some people say that they don't want abortion at all.
The defintion I have of abortion is the killing of a baby before it is born. A friend of mine arguied that a baby is not alive until it is born. Some other friends and I said that if a baby in the womb can move around, kick the mother, has a beating heart, and brain activity, the child is alive. The legal defintiion of being is alive is that you have brain activity, you aren't dead until you have no brain activity.
It is my opinion is that a baby is alive before it is born and that when someone has an abortion, they are commiting murder. Murder is the killing of one person by someone or something else.
When people talk about abortion, they usually say that they are pro-life or pro-choice. I consider myself to be pro-life because I am in favor of a living baby not a dead one. In my opinion though there is no pro-choice. When someone says they are pro-choice, they are saying that the woman should have a choice of whether or not to have an abortion. I don't believe that there is a pro-choice, I think that they need to say that they are pro-abortion not pro-choice because there is no choice, it's having a living baby or killing a baby.
I am of the opinion that a woman should have an abortion only if the live of the mother is in danger. The life of the baby is as important as the mother's but if push comes to shove, you save the mother first because she could (sometimes) have another baby.
So this is my opinion on the subject of abortion. What is your opinion on this subject?

My greatest fear is that I will fail in what I have wanted to accomplish in my life and that I will not become the person I want to be. That I will have another medical problem that will set me back in my life even more than I already am.

We were Soldiers! This is a war movie on the Vietnam War. It taught me to honor and remember the men and woman who have or are fighting in our armed forces, protecting our freedoms and way of life.

Knowing that Jesus sacraficed himself for me on the cross and has made a way for me into heaven. That all of my sins are forgiven and that God is always there for me.
