I was resting Monday night and my suitemates and I were discussing a paper we are working on right now. The paper has to do with Indians so we were joking around and I started laughing.
Most of you will remember how things were in school, well that's what it was like Monday night but prehaps a little worse.
I had two attacks and I started shaking and weezing. It was bad to the point where the campus police were called, they called the EMT's, and the EMT's called the ambulance.
It was an interesting night to say the least. So my suitemates almost killed me but I can laugh abouot it now.
That's what's happened to me recently. Later.

My life is quite interesting right now. I bruised my wrist last week when I slipped on ice walking back from class. Man did that hurt but thankfully it clearly up quick enough that it really didn't hurt to much taking midterms the next day.
I am still having problems with one of my professors, he just can't get his act together and work with his students to make things better for everyone. Hopefully things get better after break.
Well that's my life right now. I am so glad that it's break. Later.

I decided to post my answers to the scholarship questionis. So here they are.
What would you do if you weren't afraid?”
If I was not afraid I would do quite a lot. I would go sky-diving, mountain-climbing, and more. I would be active and live my life without the worry of health problems interfering in it. I would attend college but I would go out and meet people. I would live life to its fullest or as best as I could.
“How are you going to change the world?”
I am currently attending UIS majoring in Legal Studies to work as a paralegal. After I have worked as a paralegal for a while I plan on going to Law School and getting my degree as a lawyer. I hope that by working in this field and these careers I can do some kind of good for the city, county, state, country, and world. In my own way but probably not in so many places.
So that's what I hope to be and do. Those are my answers as I can remeber them anyway.

I am currently in my 2nd semester of my Freshman year at UIS. I am a Capital Scholars student in a program that gives special classes to prepare you even more. I have four classes and a math studio. Most of my classes are great as are the teachers in them but there is one that I dislike, class and teacher.
The one class and teacher that I don't like is one of my CAP classes. This teacher seems to think that his class is the center of our universe and the only class that we have. He gives at least 3 reading assignments a night that we have to write a resonse to, summarizing and commetning on the article or book. This is too much even for a scholars program or so says another CAP teacher.
This CAP class is a 3 credit course class but I have more work in it that I do in my 4 credit course classes. I have a 4 credit course math class but I have only had 9 assignments and 2 tests in it where as in the 3 credit course CAP class I have had 18 single assignments.
This weekend I had to deal with 5 assignments for this CAP class. This teacher doesn't understand that people can't do all this work and get everything else that we have to do done. He thinks that his class is our topic priority but it's not or it's not for me. My math and my spanish classes are more important to me but I don't have time for all of the work in those classes adn finish his at the same time.
Well I am done reanting. Bye for now.

So I am now in the 2nd smemster of my Freshman year of college at UIS. It is going fairly well but things could always be going better.
So far I have not had too many medical problems that have hindered my studies. I have had a few headaches and I have had a few problems with my asthma (VCD) which caused slight delays but not stops in my education.
My classes went okay last semester and I got good grades, for the most part, except for my Spanish class. I got a D in spanish, you need a C to continue, so I have to retake the entire semester of spanish in order to raise my grade and my GPA. Retaking the class isn't as good as it might be because I have a better teacher than I had last semester and I know I will do better this semester.
The food hasn't gotten any better but it's not that bad. The only thing wrong is sometimes you keep repeating meals that you know you like because there isn't anything else better or that you like more.
The teachers this semester are okay and they can be funny at times. The nice thing is that they are understanding and helpful for the most part.
The staff here at UIS is the same way. They can be helpful and understanding but they can also be funny and thre when you need them to be.
So here's hoping that this semester goes good and I get everything done that I need to.
That's all for now. Later.
